Deniz Çaplik is a Turkish researcher specializing in plant health and plant pathology. He currently works at the Diyarbak?r Plant Protection Research Institute, where he focuses on the identification and diagnosis of plant pathogenic bacteria, as well as the development of biological control strategies. After completing his undergraduate studies, he earned his Master's degree from the Institute of Science at Akdeniz University, Department of Plant Protection. His academic work centers on the detection of harmful microorganisms and the development of sustainable management methods against plant diseases. One of his notable contributions to the scientific literature is the first report of Dickeya zeae, a bacterial pathogen causing stalk rot in corn plants in Turkey. This research provided significant insights into the early detection and management of emerging plant health threats in agricultural production. Dr. Ilyor Muradullaevich Mustafaev is a Ph.D. holder and the Head of the Laboratory of Mycology and Algology at the Institute of Botany, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. With a strong academic background in biological sciences from the National University of Uzbekistan, he completed his Ph.D. at the Institute of Botany in 2012. Since 2009, he has been deeply engaged in mycological research, advancing from junior researcher to laboratory head in 2019. Dr. Mustafaev specializes in fungal taxonomy, phylogeny, ecology, and biotechnology, with a focus on microfungi and plant pathogenic fungi in Uzbekistan. His work has contributed to several national research projects and has been published in respected journals such as the Iranian Journal of Botany and the Ukrainian Botanical Journal.

Dr. Reham Hassan Eid Abdelmonem is a highly accomplished Consultant in Medical Microbiology with extensive experience in infection diagnosis, antimicrobial stewardship, and clinical microbiology. She holds a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and Public Health from the High Institute of Public Health, Alexandria University, and is a Diplomate of both the Royal College of Pathologists (DipRCPath) and the American Board of Medical Microbiology (ABMM). Dr. Abdelmonem has trained at the prestigious Bone Infection Unit at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford University Hospitals, where she actively participated in ward rounds, intra-operative sample collection, microbiological diagnostics, and antimicrobial treatment planning. Her clinical and research focus lies in bone and joint infections, antimicrobial resistance, and sepsis management. She is a member of several leading international societies, including the European Bone and Joint Infection Society (EBJIS), the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), the British Infection Association (BIA), and the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID). As a country delegate for EBJIS, she contributes to abstract reviews for the annual congress. Her academic portfolio includes multiple publications and book chapters, notably on topics such as Mucor circinelloides infections, vaccine responses in immunocompromised children, and innovative diagnostic tools like Biofire in infection management. She also serves as a peer reviewer for the Frontiers in Medicine journal.
